Thanks to Kam's post on royals... I still cannot smile today. Feels like such a failure.. Cuz I am! I didn't know that this sat.. the kids are suppose to go to school. -sigh- among other things... too sad to be bothered to write about it. Too depressed. February 27 So much to say...It's after Chinese New Years. I have so much to say.. but so little time to write. Cuz of my mom .. lol. At this age.. she still makes a riot at home when I get on the computer. And I really dont like all that bad vibes at home. -frowns- I will try to sneak some time here at work, to do an update. :) Why not.. This is like my little diary to myself. Oh, and the photos too. yup. gotta do that. But after I am all catched up with work. -yikes- that may take years!!! February 12 Friday the 9thWonderful bday dinner with employee and friend, Jenny. Her birthday is on the 16th and mine on the 19th. I wanted to take her out for nice dinner. I remembered she said that once she got married... She no longer gets the chance to go out with the girls... Or just go out herself. She needs to take care of daughter and home. So, I thought, that it would be an excellent chance to be Just the girl's night out. We know not to go home too late.. Be home before 10pm.. lol..
This is what we did. We took a taxi there ( this restaurant that serves steak or seafood ). We had their 7 course meal. It consist of an appetitizer "abolony sprouts salad" and then escargo and then cheesed bread and then the main salad came.. I had the chicken salad with bulsamic vinigar dressing while she had the pasta salad with french dressing. Then they served the soup. I had clear beef broth soup and she had the cream of mushroom soup. Then, the main course.. We both had steak medium rare. After the main dish, I was served my hot tea while she had her juice. And then we both had the best ice cream in the world. Her home made rum raisin ice cream. It actually tasted more like a plum ice cream. I guess that is why I love it. We chatted.. and had a very good evening.
February 06 so today he went inYup.. today he went in! at 8am..in the surgeory room.
Raf is finally gonna take out that tumor on his head.
To me it sounds like a complicated procedure
considering the area of that tumor
However, Raf was very optimestic and the one
who told me to smile.
He said he should be in the hospital for 4 days max.
I sure hope the surgeory is a success
and he comes back to his family and friends soon.
Since my plans are finalized (Chinese New Years and Stuff)
I would tend to think that others are too..
Donno what everyone else is doing..
I hope Raf gets plenty of rest..

February 01 Been Busy Learning at the HospitalYup, busy learning things about how to deal with ADD kids and how to deal with emotional kids. And that really doesn't just apply to kids, it applies to adults as well. I have been goin to hospital about 3 to 4 times a week.. and spending a better part of my day there. Thus boss is not happy and I am not upkeeping my blog. However, this busy life is actually more beneficial for me cuz not only did I learn ( hope I can retain my learnings ) I am also AWAY from my office... which is the most cluttered space you had ever seen. -sigh- books from old semesters and from new semesters.. Books from new purchases.. Just TONS and TONS of books and paperwork
 So, back to my paperwork and books. Will update later.
Damn... guess only Raf reads my blogs or that he cared enough to leave a message.
Ah well.. that is life.. must learn to accept my failures and well as success.
Heh.. am I a better person already? Not for the museum ( which we didn't go in )
It was for the out door small amusement park with all them rides..
Dang!!!
Floats on water ride.. Real horse rides.. Real driving experiences..Some roller coasters.. Even a jumpy things, like you are the bullet on a sling shot..
It was windy and that adds to the frozen me!!!
Went to dinner on lu bien tan (street vendors for those of you who are clueless)
Had to wait 2 years for it, am convinced that I had to be a popsicle by the time we got to eat.
Anyhow.. all i can say about sunday is....BURRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!1
January 27 Wonderful SaturdayThis morning I slept in.. actually, I wanted to sleep in but Eden woke me up when she slipped under my warm comforter. I was having a wonderful dream ... This was my dream.. Kevin drove me and my younger bro in law to this place for movies, however he dropped us off and was going to park a bit too far. I was concerned that if it rains, we will be too far from the car.. He should try to park next to the theatre. Anyhow, Weijun(the little bro in law) was walking with me to the theatre when he needed to go to the restroom, so as I waited for him, my high school boy friends ( not boyfriend ) came by, one of them put his arms around my waist to move me along toward where I was suppose to go. And then another friend came by (lol looks a lot like Ice man on the worst movie ever, Top Guns ) smoothly took over the first friend's position and moved me further along. I was concerned and kept looking back cuz I was suppose to wait for Weijun. And then, he called me. He couldn't find me. So I left my friends from high school and went up a hill so I was very visibly and so Weijun could find me. This was when Eden came into my bed and turned on the TV loudly and started to watch her cartoons.
I still stayed in bed until around 11am. I watch Travel Living (about Great Barrier Reef ) and then got up to have lunch. It was Mc Donalds. Kevin went to get it cuz kids wants McDonalds. Actually when I woke up around 9am. Kevin was working on Justin's penmenship. ( looking after the kid's school work.. what a terrific dad )
Then I went on PP and met up with friends from Advent Rising. Kam was on again :) We did power sailing. Kam told me that he still hasn't lost his touch and I don't doubt him. Can't wait to CO his WB pillages again. Those were the days!!! Then Kevin dragged me off bed to go biking. Well he was very nice not to "drag me". Yes I was in bed with my lap top, which I got the internet finally working by last night. Horray for the retarded kid.. lmao. So this was what happened. Kevin was restless all day cuz since last night he had been surveying camping sites. Yikes! I have been to camping and decided that it was not for me. I HATE not having a decent bathroom and toilet. And sleeping on mushy grounds with bugs. :p Anyhow.. he wanted to take kids biking..and told me that I should not stay in bed all day on the computer. I guess I got the hint.. So I turned off the computer and put on my socks. So we went biking!
It's like 8 degrees. How absurd. But we went. I walked over to the river area and rented a bike while they rode their bikes over. I am not good with bikes so I had to find one that isn't too high. I couldnt find the one I usually rented, so I had to ride a teenage bike that has no cushions. Ouch! Cuz the bike roads are full of bumps and goes up and down hill. We rode for about 3 hours, covered a lot of grounds. My hands and ears was frozen. But it was a terrific workout. The path goes up and down and stuff and that was what made it a terrific workout. As I was walking back home after returning the bike, my legs felt kinda weak and I felt like I was walking on clouds. I was glad I went. :) Was a happy ride each time I went.
And then we went off to BBQ. I will update as soon as I get on PP and then off. Cuz Kyutie asked me to help out Yartuo in a sinky. FUN!! in the real sense of the word, not FAN as in Chinese.. lol January 26 I need to be reminded you are my friend, my guide, my supporter, my counsellor, my confidante hope you take care. good bye.
What a line.. ! January 24 Guess who dropped by todayGuess who dropped by today? My partner in crime, Kambei!!! and my favorite "sis" Pegasiswolf! Yup, unbelievable. I had to hearty them to death. Thinks Kambei saw Pegs was on and invited her to our stall to surprise me. I haven't seen any of the two in months. Am so excited!!!! XD.
I am suppose to take note of what kambei left in my trust.. so decided to take note here..

This is what I made for dinner tonightMade these for dinner. Was actually pretty good. Unbelievable, considering that one pork dish where I had sliced the pork thinly and made a sauce to go with it.. that was the first time I made that. And Justin liked it so much that he ate 3 bowls of them. The vegetables are pretty good too. A bit too salty though. This tomato egg thing was done right. I am kinda liking this cooking thing... But don't wanna do it everyday. Eden wants to do the dishes. so.. OK. SHOESMy dad...usually has something really amazing to say.. told me one day as we accompany mom shopping--Alice, look at the shoes that ppl are wearing. Each pair was picked out of the hundreds in a shopping mall, thus each pair very special and unique to the owner and shows something about the owner.
All that just from a pair of shoes.
Today I want to say that the black pair of pointy low heel shoes that gave me lots of blisters..the one I got the first night at Singapore..is actually very very comfortable by now. I am wearing it everyday. It's almost unimaginable that this comfortable pair of shoes..the one that I picked cuz I liked it but at that time knew it was going to give me pains..is very comfortable after the initial "violatile" period. Heh.. I love this shoe now. I had never owned or wore "pointy" shoes and didn't think I would like it. Am glad I tried..sticked with it for a while ( it has no choice but to be worn by me..lol ) and now it is serving me well.
Food for thoughts. January 23 Today...Tempted to sing.. Today.. while the bloosomes still clings to the vine.. I will taste your strawberries I will drink your sweet wine.. A million tomorrows will all pass away.. Then I'll forget all the love that were mine today. -sigh-
Made dinner.. Nice dinner... I am fairly anal with soup so I burnt my wrist while making it the correct way. This was the dinner for the family. I had no apetite thus didn't eat. I made cucumber spare ribs soup, fried whole fish, pan fried chicken drum sticks, beef vegetable salad Vietnamese style, fried veggies, white rice that is not sticky but kinda hard. Strange, the table looks like there were more food. Anyhow. That was dinner. didn't take pics. Couldn't even be bothered to treat my burn. Perhaps it will make a permanent mark on my wrist. Donno.
Today.. I guess I am gonna go through this not hungry stage again.. Didn't mean to.. It just is. Perhaps I will get a better figure out of this. Who knows.
Does it matter what I am doing today or how I feel etc. when I am disposal? -heh- Went on a 3 day vacationOn Friday January 19th thru January 21, I went down to Hua Lien and then to Yi Lan. Hot Springs county. Trip was suppose to be relaxing. But it was tiresome. I guess at least I got some rest and started to eat. I know I should upkeep my blog. But am rather speechless today. I will upload the pic from this trip and let the pics do the talking. Thanks for caring. |
